Many people prefer PVC doors to install on their own. However, not everyone knows how to adjust them correctly, although without this the plastic doors will not function normally – they will pass noise and drafts, over time they can even deform.

Whether the metal -plastic door is correctly installed can be determined by a number of characteristic features:
The door leaf will be tightly pressed against the box around the entire perimeter;
In the open position of the doors, it will not be shifted (if there are two of them);
Sustainable span of doors in the established position – this means that if you opened it, for example, 45 degrees, it will not continue to open on itself;
If there is at least one of the above shortcomings, this means that your door needs adjustment.
How to adjust the metal -plastic door?
The door needs to be adjusted or not, they usually check immediately after the mounting foam dries. Adjustment of metal -plastic doors is simple, you can do it yourself. Take a pencil, when closed, draw a line on its box, then, having opened the door, you will get the opportunity to visually evaluate the evenness of the lines. If there are distortions, they must be eliminated. For the door adjustment, hexagonal keys will be required, as well as screwdrivers – flat and cross -shaped.
If there is a need to shift the door of the door horizontal, it is necessary to adjust the position of the adjusting screw located in the end of the canopy. Vertical adjustment is carried out by a change in the position of the screw placed in the upper part of the end of the canopy. Turning this screw, you can slightly lower and raise the door leaf, achieving these actions of the correct position of the canvas in relation to the door box. Also, using this screw, you can press the canvas to the box with a denser. In general, the density of the door pressing is adjustable using shut -off tsapf.
Preventive work should be carried out periodically to identify the incorrect door to the box, the shut -off mechanism should be periodically lubricated a couple of times a year. If the seal is deteriorated over time, it should be replaced. Take carefully to the canopies, do not let the children indulge in the door, do not clap it – then it will take its functions for a long time and reliably.
